Act.IL’s social media campaigns are based on tailor made pro-Israel content, thorough research regarding the specific target audience and the goals of the campaign. We estimate our success by asking ourselves not only “how many were exposed to our content?” but also by “who was exposed to our message?”.
In order to achieve the goals of our campaigns, and create an online impact, our campaigns are built with respect to a unique workflow that is consisted from a number of crucial steps. This process takes into account critical factors such as cultural differences, levels of knowledge regarding the state of Israel, differences in world views, languages, ages and more.
The Israel Extreme Yourself campaign was created in order to present Israel in a cool and fresh way through something that people will enjoy watching – extreme sports in Israel.
We researched and found out that there are many communities of extreme sports lovers all over Israel.
We decided to publish a call saying that we're looking for high quality shots of extreme sports– all of them filmed in Israel.
Within 36 hours the video reached more than 250K views and over 2,000 shares!
During International Women Day SJP in NYC published a post on their public Facebook page praising 4 Palestinian women, all convicted terrorists. Our campaign called NYC's governor and Mayor to condemn the organization and its actions.Watch video

One of the claims often sound by anti-Israel activists is that Israel is an "Apartheid" state.
In addition, in recent years "Israeli Apartheid week" has become a normal phenomenon in campuses worldwide. For that reason, we decided to launch a campaign designated to refute this false claim. The “Israel is NOT an Apartheid state" video was a social experiment in which we planted Apartheid like signs ("For Jews Only") on the streets of Tel-Aviv and then documented authentic responses of passing-byers.
Throughout the video, viewers watch Israelis react in anger to these signs, doing what they can to destroy them. The video starts with the definition of 'Apartheid' and ends with the claim that Israel was not and never will be an Apartheid State.Watch video
Professor Moshe Halbertal, an Israeli academic, was shouted down by protesters as he tried to begin a lecture at the University of Minnesota.
The UMN campaign was aimed to address this incident that disregarded the freedom of speech, and to achieve an official condemnation regarding the actions of the anti-Israeli groups on campus that were involved. This goal was achieved by initiating two campaigns. The first effort was an online video distributed via social media platforms that raised awareness for the incident and included a call to action - sending an open letter to the president of the university requesting his reference to the incident.
The video and letter were distributed via new-media channels, in collaboration with partnered organizations and individuals. As a result of the campaign, SJP officially denounced any responsibility and involvement in the event. In addition, an official statement of condemnation and investigation by the President of UMN was received.Watch video

Pallywood, a portmanteau of "Palestinian" and "Hollywood", is a coinage that has been used to describe media manipulation, distortion or fraud designed to win the public relations war against Israel. Exposing Pallywood incidents is one example of our online activism strategy. Our volunteers in the situation-room exposed a false post on Facebook which accused the "Israeli Air Force killing children in Gaza", presenting a photo from the Hollywood movie "The Final Destination". We created a campaign revealing Hamas lies, over 30M users were exposed to our campaign, one of them was the editor of RTL German newspaper which decided to create a news report on prime-time German television, which exposed Millions more to the lies.Watch video
